Country music is music that entertains a certain audience — such as Southerners who like to wear cowboy hats and drink beer. However, country music with a rock twist reaches even more people and brings new fans to the genre.

An album that has this type of music is Patty Blee’s "From the Inside." With this album, Blee shows she has the talent to be a premiere country singer.

The music is typical country with guitars and drums, but the way the instruments are played gives the album its rock vibe. The music on "From the Inside" has a familiar sound to other country rock singers, such as Taylor Swift. When listening to "From the Inside," listeners can picture themselves hanging out with friends going on a car ride because the music has a mellow, chilling out feel to it.

However, it is a little difficult to understand what Blee is saying because her words blend together. Fans of hers should be able to figure out the lyrics because they are accustomed to her singing style.

Despite the setback of being unable to understand the lyrics, the music and sound makes up for this problem. In fact, the music itself is more enjoyable without the lyrics.
